General
conditions
|
| For
self drive hire the hirer and/or authorized driver must
be over 23 years of age and under 70 years of age. In
addition for all rentals the hirer and/or authorized driver
must also be in possession of a proper means of identification
other than a driver's license (we recommend a passport
as ID). |
| Driver's
license |
| The
hirer and/or authorized driver must have held a valid
driving license for a minimum of 2 years up to and including
the time of hire. A driving license from the country of
residence or an International Driver's Permit is generally
acceptable, provided it is valid throughout the hire period. |
| Self
Drive |
| Self
drive cars are hired subject to the company's standard
form of agreement not withstanding the above conditions
the company reserves the right to refuse a hirer at any
time without assigning any reason. |
| Chauffeur
driven |
Chauffeur
driven hire rate is an additional $25 per day above
the self drive rate. Rates are applicable during working
hours (8. am - 6 pm). Drivers overtime charges after
6 pm are US$ 2 Per hour. |
| Fuel
options |
You can choose to collect and return the vehicle fully
fuelled, or with an (almost) empty tank. When you book
please let us know which option you want. |
| Returning your vehicle |
| Vehicles
must be dropped of at our office in Sakina for inspection.
If you return the vehicle at night or on Sunday your bond
will only be returned the following day after the vehicle
has been inspected. |
Clients are liable for the first $1500 damage
excess in the event of an accident.
Glass and tyres are the clients reposibility. |
Terms
of payment
|
| Payments
can be made by: Travelers cheque's, Bank Deposits, Cash
payment, or Visa card. |
| Payments |
For
monthly rentals, a credit card imprint and a bond of
$500 are required. |
| For
short term hire a deposit is required on confirmation
of your booking (50% of the charge for the period of hire).
The balance plus a bond of $500 should be handed over
on collection. |
| In
either case the deposit less any outstanding invoices
is refundable upon safe return of the vehicle. |
| Broken
windscreens, glasses and lenses, loss of tires and tools
are responsibility of the hirer and any loss or damage
will be added to the hirers bill |
